Heart 2 Heart

11:00 am - 1:00 pm

All parents, guardians, families and involved community members are invited to Heart 2 Heart, a workshop facilitating open conversations about interactions with child-serving systems. This workshop is presented by Family Forward and the NAACP Education Committee. Heart 2 Heart will be held on January 25, 2025 at the FCCA from 11am to 1pm with lunch provided. Participants will learn more about community support available through Family Forward and will have the opportunity to discuss and share experiences with local child serving systems that are working well, what gaps they see and what they need to be successful while interacting in these systems. This workshop is an excellent place to meet other families that may have similar challenges or might suggest important solutions to local issues. We hope to have open conversations about what improvements are needed to better serve families and parents. Heart 2 Heart is a listening session workshop that will kick off a 10-month workshop series for families who interact with child-serving systems, facilitated by Family Forward and NAACP Education Committee.
