The Epiphany of the Lord Parish in Meadville is conducting a free series of informal listening sessions, titled “Catholics Returning Home,” on six consecutive Wednesday evenings beginning April 23, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. at St. Mary of Grace Church, 1085 Water St., Meadville. The series is an invitation to Catholics who have been away to renew their relationship with the Catholic Church. These listening sessions will be conducted in a support-group format, with updates on the Catholic faith. Former returned Catholics or converts will facilitate the evenings. Everyone is welcome. The Children’s Advocacy Center of Lawrence County, Inc. comes together annually in April for Child Abuse Prevention Month. The Steppin’ Up for Kids event from 4pm to 7pm on Thursday, April 24 serves as a community-focused initiative designed to raise awareness about the impact of child abuse and the importance of prevention efforts. During Child Abuse Prevention Month, these events aim to educate the public, engage families, and inspire action to protect children.
